The 7th annual Friends footrace occurs at the peak of fall foliage in the cool, crisp air. Early-bird discount for registrants in Spring, 2022. Family-friendly, food, prizes and a great race t-shirt.
The paved 5K begins and ends at the Lake parking lot, and includes "The Hill". The 10K is a challenging double-loop of the 5K course. The un-timed 1.4-mile Fun Run/Walk is at your own pace.

Register for this event or contact for questions here:
Join the Westminster Astronomy Society during the day to view the Sun through a solar telescope, and then come back in the evening to view the stars through telescopes. Free with payment of park entrance fees. Rain cancels.

We are pleased to announce the Friends
10K / 5K and Fun Run/Walk will return on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 9 am in Cunningham Falls State Park's William Houck Area.
Technical t-shirt (timed runners only), cooler air, lovely autumn scenery. We have designed our packet pick up and race day experience to be low-contact as the pandemic simmers.
The course is the same (yes, it still includes "The Hill").
An Early-bird registration discount is available through July, so don't miss out:

Anglers age 15 and younger are invited to fish in the pond at Gambrill State Park. All participants must be accompanied by an adult and bring their own fishing tackle and bait. Free, limit 35 participants.
